As a part of finding the biologically active components from Duchesnea indica (Andr.) Focke (Rosaceae), antitumor activities of its water soluble fractions have been studied. The fractions were examined for antitumor activity against sarcoma 180 implanted in mice. The antitumor inhibition ratios of the water soluble fractions from Duchesnea indica were 17.9, 37.1, 62.7, 60.1, 62.4%, respectively.
